The Department of Veterans Affairs Southeast Louisiana Healthcare System (SLVHCS) is a leading healthcare provider seeking a highly skilled Staff Psychologist to fill the role of Intimate Partner Violence Coordinator for our Community Based Outpatient Clinic in New Orleans, LA.
This challenging and rewarding position involves providing direct patient contact including specialized psychological services at all levels of complexity for patients experiencing intimate partner violence. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care through intake evaluation, treatment planning, diagnostic assessments, psychotherapy, and patient education.
As an experienced mental health professional, you will work closely with significant others/support systems to aid in the facilitation of client treatment with permission from the client. Additionally, you may be required to provide collateral consultation to support the client's treatment plan.
We offer a competitive salary range of $94,173 - $168,746, taking into account the location and industry standards. This figure is based on national averages and may vary depending on individual factors.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a U.S. Citizen or non-citizen with eligibility to work in the United States
- Hold a full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State
- Possess a doctoral degree in psychology from a graduate program accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA), the Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System (PCSAS), or the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA)
- Have completed a professional psychology internship training program accredited by APA or CPA
- Be able to utilize measurement-based care to advance treatment
- Have experience providing evidence-based care for various diagnoses in a general mental health setting
- Be highly motivated, team-oriented, and committed to the care and well-being of our Veterans
