Overview

Catholic Health Service is seeking a skilled ER Technician to join our team at Mercy Hospital. As a member of our Emergency Department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering compassionate and high-quality healthcare.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct care to patients and create a safe, comfortable environment
  • Assist with selected procedures associated with admission, discharge, and transfer of patients
  • Document patient information in the Electronic Medical Record
  • Perform and maintain competencies related to EKGs, glucose testing, and phlebotomy

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • One year satisfactory experience as a Nurse's Aide in a hospital or prior EMT experience preferred
  • Good communication skills and ability to speak and write clearly
