Job Overview

Best Buy Health is seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Sales Director to drive growth and expansion of our commercial team. This role will play a critical part in enabling care at home for everyone, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry.

We are looking for a skilled professional with 5+ years of experience selling digital, clinical technology solutions to pharmaceutical companies. The ideal candidate will have prior experience directly in a CRO, pharma-focused technology company, or a pharmaceutical company. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Key Responsibilities
  • BUILD AND MANAGE CUSTOMER SALES FUNNELS through creative demand generation efforts targeting Clinical Leadership and Digital Innovation.
  • ADOPT AND OWN THE CURRENT HEALTH SELLING PROCESS, including CRM management, to drive all opportunities through the funnel stages from new lead to close.
  • LEAD CUSTOMER DEMOS AND PRESENTATIONS both in-person and virtually.
  • DRIVE OVER-PPLAN REVENUE AND CUSTOMER ACQUISITION PERFORMANCE by identifying customer needs, building business plans, and leading negotiation efforts with identified accounts.
  • ACCURATELY FORECAST REVENUES within the quarter and year.
  • BUILD STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS WITH PROSPECTIVE AND CURRENT CUSTOMERS and act as a voice of the customer internally within various departments of Best Buy Health.
  • REPRESENT THE COMPANY AT INDUSTRY EVENTS, WEBINARS, AND TRADE SHOWS.
Requirements

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years' experience selling digital, clinical technology solutions to pharmaceutical companies.
  • Prior experience directly in a CRO, pharma-focused technology company, or a pharmaceutical company.
  • Must be able to travel up to 50%.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • MSA and contracting expertise.
  • Previous experience selling disruptive technologies to multiple stakeholders within a client organization.
  • Extensive relationships in the pharmaceutical industry with a preferred focus in oncology.
  • Strong written, verbal, and storytelling skills.
  • Advanced degree or equivalent.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $120,000-$180,000 based on national averages and industry standards.
