Electronics Technician II

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician II to join our team at Sierra Space Corporation. As an Electronics Technician II, you will be responsible for constructing, troubleshooting, calibrating, testing, and maintaining our equipment, components, devices, or systems. You will ensure our systems and components meet established specifications.
About You
We are looking for a dreamer who aligns with our values, vision, and audacious goals. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree in a related field of study and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of 3-D CAD software are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems
- Ensure systems and components meet established specifications
- Work with standard laboratory test equipment, other measurement equipment, hand tools, and power tools
Working Conditions
- Occasionally exposed to outdoor elements (high/low temperatures, sun, rain/snow, etc.)
- Occasionally exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals/materials
- Occasionally exposed to loud noises
Physical/Mental/Emotional Requirements
- Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps
- Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity
- Frequently requires vision abilities to include close, distance, depth perception, and telling the difference between colors
- Frequently requires hearing abilities to include discerning different tones and volumes
- Frequently lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
