Lead Front-End Architect for Seamless Experiences

We're seeking a seasoned Lead Front-End Architect to drive innovation in our Dispute Engineering team. As a key member, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft intuitive experiences that empower our customers.
Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the roadmap for our internal applications and mobile app, guiding impactful projects from concept to delivery. Working closely with product managers, operations teams, and engineering partners, you'll influence the design and functionality of critical tools that support both our team and members.
This role offers a competitive salary range of $196,100 - $245,100 USD, plus opportunities for bonuses, equity packages, and comprehensive benefits. Full-time employees are eligible for these perks, with actual salaries potentially higher based on location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Exercise technical leadership for high-impact projects in the Disputes Engineering team
- Advocate for best practices in UX development, ensuring seamless user experiences across all applications
- Implement product features and provide support or work with backend engineers to define and integrate platform APIs
- Mentor, document, and share knowledge within the immediate team and Chime Engineering as a whole
- Foster collaboration across engineering teams to create reusable solutions, contributing to architecture blueprints that benefit the organization
- Lead projects by defining timelines, managing scope, overseeing development, and ensuring quality
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement through sprint ceremonies and process refinement
- Participate in a community of practice around frontend ecosystem architecture, development, testing, deployment, and release, fostering creativity and innovation
- Demonstrate deep front-end development knowledge, with 8+ years of active web and/or mobile development experience in React, React Native, and TypeScript
- Showcase ability to be a top-level individual contributor in a cross-functional environment, collaborating with engineers, designers, and product managers
- Work across the stack, including React Native, Native iOS/Android, GraphQL API, CI/Build systems
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tooling, along with web front-end technologies and frameworks
- Strong communication skills to articulate design decisions and rationale
- Desire to drive engineering culture within the team and organization
- Strong leadership skills to work with cross-functional partners to define requirements, manage scope, and execute software projects
- Proficiency in writing thorough tests, including unit tests and integration tests, along with experience in rolling out features through gradual processes, monitoring impact, and scaling up for stability and performance
