Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field examinations for asset-based loans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Execute audit procedures and identify issues in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), bank credit policy, and legal guidelines.
  • Write detailed reports to document the findings of field examinations and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Document audit trails to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Analyze the quality and accuracy of a borrower's financial and collateral reports submitted to the bank.
  • Complete borrowing base calculations to determine if loans are adequately collateralized.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in public accounting, auditing, finance, or a related field (Master's degree in accounting or business-related field is preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience in accounting, asset-based lending, loan collateral, auditing, field examination, or financial consulting.
  • CPA, CTP, or CFE certifications are preferred.
  • Proficiencies in data mining and computer databases.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office Products, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
  • Advanced knowledge of factoring and asset-based lending, accounting, statistical analysis, audit procedures, collateral, loans, and credit quality.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work in dynamic environments and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to craft and deliver clear, concise messages to various audiences, including client leadership and internal teams.

Compensation

The expected pay range for this position is $80,000 - $150,000 (exclusive of bonus, equity, or benefits for which this role may be eligible).

This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making individual compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience and training, skill sets, licensure and certifications, location, and other business and organizational needs.
