Marine Technician Apprentice

Description:

We are seeking a full-time Marine Technician Apprentice to join our team. Our entry-level position for a marine technical apprentice will learn all facets of working on boats.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lay down protective coverings to protect vessel's interiors where work is to be performed.
• Clean bilges and perform cosmetic detailing.
• Assist senior mechanics in the repair of underwater gear, removal of thruster propellers, running gear, zincs.
• Assist plumbing senior mechanics with raw water valves and strainer repairs or replacements.
• Assist with engine room equipment removals and reinstallations.
• Assist with fresh water and fuel systems.
• Basic hand tools will be required, a tool list will be issued.
