Immunology Bioinformatics Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Immunology Bioinformatics Specialist to join our team at the Genomics Research Center. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing computational solutions and conducting computational research for immunology discovery and translational programs.
The successful candidate will have a strong interest in and the essential skills for developing a computational tool for single-cell RNA sequencing. In this position, you will develop a large language model (LLM)-based tool for cell type annotation in single-cell analysis. This tool will generate cell-type annotations that are comparable to those made by human experts, as indicated in recent studies.
This role requires a Master's or PhD degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or other related fields. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in a programming language, e.g., R or Python, experience with software development in Linux environment, proven experience with single-cell RNA Seq data analysis, hands-on experience with machine learning/deep learning algorithms, excellent written and verbal communication skills, high motivation and enthusiasm, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and eagerness to tackle new projects and generate new ideas.
The estimated salary range for this position is $68,684 - $113,532 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Relocation support may be provided for eligible students.
