Dietitian - Nutrition Services Specialist

As a Registered Dietitian with Alice Peck Day Health Systems, you will play a vital role in evaluating, assessing, and planning nutrition care to meet patient nutritional needs. This position requires a strong understanding of nutrition standards and the ability to develop plans of instruction and nutritional care. You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to identify nutrition-related problems and develop effective solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient nutritional status using documented medical information and established nutritional standards.
- Counsel patients and/or families by identifying nutrition-related problems and developing plans of instruction and nutritional care.
- Develop and implement nutrition care plans to meet patient needs.
- Participate in physicians' rounds, discharge planning rounds, and conferences with nutritional implications.
- Conduct education programs for patients, community groups, and staff.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition from an accredited college/university; Registered Dietitian or RDE; Previous clinical experience helpful but not necessary.
- Current NH Dietitian license and current Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
