Drug Discovery Leader

Join Life Science People as our Head of Biotechnology Innovation and drive transformational advancements in medicine by leveraging AI and biology. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a high-performing team, develop and implement strategies that expand the impact of our AI platform on genetic medicines, and contribute to the development of groundbreaking genetic medicines.
You will collaborate with our ML, Target ID, and Genomics teams to advance findings into clinical development through partnerships and business development activities. With a strong background in biological sciences and 15+ years of experience in early-stage drug development, you will lead target selection, hit identification, and validation campaigns using functional genomics, disease models, and the AI platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expertise with genetically defined targets in the liver and CNS, including corresponding models and delivery systems.
- Hands-on experience developing and running industrialized NGS-based workflows.
- Computational background or ability to collaborate with computational biology teams on scalable analytics.
Estimated Salary: $280,000 - $380,000 per year
