About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronic Systems Engineer to join our team in Northridge, California. As a key member of our Advanced Weapons group, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic systems for tactical missile systems.

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mixed-signal electronics engineering, with experience in circuit card assemblies (CCAs) design, development, and system-level integration. You will work closely with our team to develop power budget analysis, electrical system schematics, safety-critical systems, and grounding schemes for existing and new development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop digital circuits with large-scale FPGA/SoC's and high-speed interfaces.
  • Conduct verification and validation (V&V) testing, as well as system-level testing.
  • Develop detailed test plans for prototypes and assist in transition to production.
  • Collaborate with systems engineers, software engineers, and hardware engineers to ensure software and hardware performance and compatibility.

Requirements:

  • BS degree in an engineering discipline, preferably in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, with 5 years of experience or MS with 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Secret Clearance adjudicated within the last 5 years.
  • Familiarity with PWB design rules and techniques for CCA's with >20 layers count from initial prototype to production.
  • Knowledge of EDA tools packages such as Mentor Graphics or equivalent.
  • Experience with MIL-STD compliant designs that meet reliability and maintainability requirements.
