Patient Care Assistant

**Job Summary**
As a Patient Care Assistant at Providence Health & Services, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care in a rehabilitation setting. You will assist a multidisciplinary staff of professionals and para-professionals to maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in preparing patients and equipment for treatment and transportation
- Contribute to maintaining an orderly working environment
- Support patients in their daily activities and provide emotional support
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
**Requirements**
- National Provider BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant in Alaska for SNF upon hire
- 1 year of experience or volunteer work in a rehabilitation setting
