Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret Managed Care contract language, terms, and conditions to ensure accurate billing and payment.
Perform telephone and written follow-up with patients, insurance companies, and third-party payers to resolve payment issues.
Utilize multiple hospital systems to manage patient accounts and ensure timely payments.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient accounts and payment history.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in hospital collections or a related field.
Strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively with patients, insurance companies, and third-party payers.
Knowledge of CMS regulations, Managed Care, and insurance company payment principles.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
