Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Compliance Specialist to join our team at the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and compliance, with the ability to lead financial monitoring reviews and provide technical assistance to contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
Leads financial monitoring reviews of government, educational, non-profit, and/or for-profit entities throughout Texas.
Identifies financial non-compliance issues through research, analysis, and review of financial statements and reports.
Exercises initiative and independent judgment in designing review procedures and recommending changes to policies and procedures.
Prepares comprehensive financial monitoring reports and provides technical assistance to contractors and HHSC program personnel.
Participates in the development and/or modification of financial compliance policies and procedures.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of experience in financial analysis and compliance.
Strong knowledge of complex accounting systems, financial analyses, and examination procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and lead a team.
