Compensation Package

The hourly salary range for this position is estimated at $17.65 - $29.58 per hour. In addition to the competitive base pay, UnitedHealth Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, incentive programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).


Job Description

This role serves as the first point of contact for patients, setting the tone for a positive experience. The Patient Support Center Representative plays a vital part in connecting patients with the care, pharmacy benefits, data, and resources they need to thrive.


Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule appointments and procedures while adhering to standard guidelines
  • Verify patient information and document it accurately in their Electronic Health Record (EPIC)
  • Advise patients on their responsibilities regarding insurance and referral information

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma / GED
  • At least one year of customer service experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during normal business hours, with occasional overtime as needed
