We're looking for talented individuals to join our team at Hollywood Casino at Columbus. As a Server Sportsbar Team Member, you'll be the face of our sportsbar, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring our guests have an unforgettable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take food and drink orders, communicate with the bartender, and assist in the preparation of drinks.
  • Operate a cash register/POS System, ringing up proper amounts and providing correct change.
  • Provide fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to restaurant guests and staff.
  • Engage in friendly conversations with guests whenever possible.
  • Provide personalized service, using guests' names during all interactions, and greet each guest entering the restaurant.
  • Keep designated working areas clean and organized, and assist in maintaining cleanliness of the dining room, including the host stand area, as necessary.
  • Recognize players and relay that information to the host/hostess and/or other restaurant team members to ensure they receive the appropriate service.
  • Know and promote current property events and promotions.
  • Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines.
  • Thank customers, invite them back, and wish them luck.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One to three months of related experience and/or training.
  • Prior serving experience in a high-volume environment preferred.
  • Read, write legibly, understand, and speak English.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to count money and change correctly.
  • Available to work required schedules, which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.
  • Able to work in constricting areas.
  • Able to tolerate noise and bright lights.
