Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as In-Home Respite Workers. As a Respite Worker, you will provide relief to primary caregivers, allowing them to take a break and recharge. You will be responsible for providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being. Your role will be crucial in enabling individuals to live independently and participate fully in their communities.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and guidance to clients while primary caregivers are out of the home.
- Ensure a safe environment while primary caregivers are out of the home, providing services to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of clients.
- Adhere to routines, behavior management, communication techniques, etc. as prescribed by families through their training.
- Maintain up-to-date training as required by Envision Unlimited and the Respite Care Program.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must be 18 years or older and have completed the Envision Respite Care Training Program. You will need to demonstrate a strong commitment to providing person-centered services and promoting the independence and community inclusion of individuals with developmental disabilities.
