Rumpke is seeking a skilled CDL Residential Front Load Driver to join our team in a dynamic role that offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on our community.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced driver with a Class B CDL to operate front load trucks in residential areas, providing efficient and safe waste management services to our customers.

About the Role:

This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. As a CDL Residential Front Load Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and hauling waste or recycling materials to disposal sites or recycling plants.

You will operate various types of trucks, service different routes in various areas, and interact with internal and external customers in a professional manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate all trucks in a safe manner, complying with local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Provide trash or recycling removal services to customers by emptying containers into trucks and hauling to disposal sites.
  • Pull or push containers from enclosures or inside buildings as needed.
  • Deliver trash or recycling containers as required.
  • Clean up waste spills and overflows.
  • Maintain and update route sheets.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete logs.
  • Maintain drivers' log sheets.
  • Engage in professional interaction with internal and external customers.
  • Clean waste from packer blades and truck bodies.
Requirements:
  • A valid Class B CDL is essential for this role.
  • You must have a valid DOT Medical Card or be able to obtain one prior to hire.
  • The ability to read and speak the English language fluently is necessary.
  • No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years.
  • No DUIs or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • A valid driver's license (if applicable).
Estimated Salary:

$50,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
