Chesapeake Animal Hospital, a reputable animal care provider since 1986, seeks a dedicated Veterinary Medicine Professional to join our team. Our state-of-the-art hospital offers comprehensive services for dogs and cats, emphasizing exceptional client experiences and unparalleled veterinary care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, fostering strong relationships with pet owners, and staying up-to-date with the latest medical advancements in veterinary medicine. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform physical examinations, surgeries, and dentistry procedures while minimizing patient stress and discomfort.
  • Develop rapport with clients, explain examination findings, and present treatment plans that meet their needs and preferences.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure timely follow-up care for patients.
  • Stay current with new medical information and participate in ongoing education and training opportunities.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Virginia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and empathetic approach to client interactions.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, ranging from $150,000 to $250,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. In addition to a base salary, eligible DVMs can earn a bonus payout of up to 10% additional production after contract renewal.
