Job Opportunity

ACORE is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Policy Intern. The ideal candidate will have strong research and writing skills, as well as a passion for renewable energy policy.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on federal energy and tax policy, state energy policy, and electric power sector trends.
  • Draft issue briefs, memos, and fact sheets on various topics.
  • Attend Congressional hearings, briefings, and webinars related to energy policy.
  • Develop and present an independent research project under the guidance of ACORE's policy team.

Requirements:

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
  • Availability to work at least three days a week.
  • Previous experience in public policy or renewable energy is a plus.
  • Strong research, writing, and editing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
