As a key member of our team at ttg Talent Solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely production of engines. Your expertise will be instrumental in overseeing the production control department, collaborating with multiple departments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities:- Lead and develop the production planning team, providing training and guidance on systems and operational procedures.
- Review work scopes thoroughly to understand the scope of repair and customer deliverables, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Coordinate with the Purchasing and Outside Vendor Service departments to ensure all materials needed for repairs are identified and ordered, streamlining the production process.
- Monitor internal and external repair work orders to meet engine schedule deadlines, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with department supervisors to allocate resources effectively, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to the highest standard.
- Distribute weekly progress reports to stakeholders, providing transparent and timely updates on production progress.
- Monitor the critical parts list and manage aging inventory, minimizing waste and optimizing production.
- Review Turn-Around-Time (TAT) to create realistic production schedules, ensuring engines are delivered on time and to the required quality standards.
- Lead and participate in production meetings, highlighting critical path items and proposing work-around plans to handle surge capacity and expedited delivery demands.
- Ensure that all parts, materials, and tools are available for scheduled tasks, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
- Follow procedures and regulations to comply with FAA and other quality standards, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
- Provide process improvement recommendations to management, driving continuous improvement and excellence in production.
- Work closely with the assembly team to meet production schedules and deliver engines on time, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
- Manage and develop the Engine Parts Program (EPP) business, driving growth and revenue.
- Direct and utilize the gate system to enhance accountability across departments, ensuring transparency and efficiency in production.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Production Planner/Coordinator.
- Minimum of 5 years of engine experience.
- CFM 56 engine teardowns and rebuilds is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Experience in the MRO Aviation industry, particularly with the CFM56 family.
- English Proficient.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience with Quantum aviation software.
- Business proficiency in Spanish.
- Strong system usage and knowledge of Quantum.
