Pulmonary Care Nurse

Job Description Summary:
This position provides nursing care to patients and families along the health-illness continuum in diverse healthcare settings while collaborating with the healthcare team. The LPN is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients and families in diverse healthcare settings
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
- Delegate nursing tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act
- Serve as a resource for other associates and communicate instructions and minor scheduling
Requirements:
- BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - National Council of State Boards of Nursing
- Must hold a current license from the State of Ohio and successfully completed Ohio Board of Nursing approved medication course
Work Environment:
