Job Description:

This role is an excellent opportunity to join a team of employee-owners at Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. as an Environmental Due Diligence Consultant. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical consulting services on due diligence transaction projects for local, regional, and national clients in the financial, real estate development, and industrial sectors.

The estimated salary range for this position is $55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role:

  • Perform environmental due diligence projects for corporate, industrial, and commercial transactions, ensuring compliance with ASTM E1527 standards.
  • Provide consulting advice to corporate, financial, and legal clients on environmental and health and safety matters.
  • Design and implement Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and Brownfields site assessments, including field work and sampling activities, and associated reporting.
  • Maintain multiple projects concurrently, meeting strict timeframes, scope/budget expectations, and delivering high-quality project deliverables.
  • Support BLE Principals and Project Managers to effectively manage projects and communicate with clients, employees, and vendors.

Requirements:

  • An accredited four-year bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of individual and/or consulting experience in environmental due diligence projects.
  • Solid knowledge of E1527 standards, core business concepts, and legal principles of business transactions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with experience writing comprehensive technical reports.
  • Ability to multitask, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision.
