Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ICU Nurse Specialist to join our team at Rhode Island Hospital.

About the Role

This 12-hour night shift position requires a minimum of 2 years' experience in intensive care and expertise in tracheostomies, endotracheal tubes, and drips. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, prioritizing the needs of critically ill patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop effective care plans and ensure seamless transitions of care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • BLS - Basic Life Support certification.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (for ICU specialty).
  • A minimum of 2 years' ICU experience.
  • Experience with tracheostomies, endotracheal tubes, and drips.
