Nuclear Medicine Specialist Position in Oregon

Job Summary: As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing procedures in compliance with hospital policies and procedures. You will work closely with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the smooth operation of the nuclear medicine department.
About the Job:
• Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including imaging and administration of radiopharmaceuticals
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to hospital protocols and standards
• Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort and dignity throughout the procedure
Requirements:
• Currently licensed in Nuclear Medicine with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI)
• Registered in Nuclear Medicine with either the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the AHA within 90 days of hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire
• One year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
• Bachelor's or associate degree preferred
