Job Summary

The Registered Nurse RN Manager Acute Inpatient position is responsible for the coordination of clinical activities, staff supervision, personnel leadership/management, and unit organization. This role requires a service excellence approach and effective communication with staff to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Achieve professional goals set during previous evaluation periods
  • Demonstrate professional behavior and conduct at all times
  • Maintain good employee/peer relationships and teamwork
  • Prioritize work and duties under stressful situations
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, peers, and healthcare teams
  • Accountability for direct patient care, applying nursing process, prioritizing care, and evaluating outcomes
  • Participate in discharge planning processes and assist in decreasing readmissions
  • Document patient care efficiently, accurately, and according to policy recommendations
Requirements:
  • 3 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
