Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Apheresis RN to join our team at Brigham and Women's Hospital. As an Apheresis RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct and indirect patient care for Medical-Surgical Outpatients and Inpatients receiving surgical and/or invasive procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, co-workers, and nursing directors about patient clinical conditions, including diagnostic study results and symptomatology.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide a continuum of care and co-workers to provide continuous, quality patient care, efficient patient flow, and unit maintenance and organization.
  • Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or families and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Requirements
  • Nursing License in good standing.
  • Evidence of one year of current Ambulatory/Outpatient experience.
  • Evidence of current AHA BLS and ACLS credential mandatory.
