Job Description

As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing a broad range of human resources functions at the plant level. This role requires a deep understanding of HR best practices, compliance with employment laws, and the ability to foster positive relationships across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the recruitment process for exempt, non-exempt, hourly, and temporary employees.
  • Interpret and enforce company policies and maintain the employee handbook.
  • Mediate employee disputes and work with management to provide resolutions.
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits, payroll coordination, and unemployment compensation.
  • Develop and implement employee training and development programs.
  • Manage performance appraisal processes and salary administration.
  • Foster open communication with employees to keep them informed on policies, news, and recognitions.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and HIPAA regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and manage plant security operations.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of HR generalist experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of HR management experience within a manufacturing setting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and compensation practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
