Motorcycle Porter

At Sonic Powersports, we are dedicated to providing our customers with an exceptional dealership experience. As a Motorcycle Porter, you will play a vital role in helping us achieve this goal.

Sonic Powersports is a group of seven high-volume franchised motorsport dealerships in the Metro Houston area, including Harley-Davidson, Indian, Victory, and all metric brands. We employ enthusiastic and motivated people in Sales, Service, Parts, and Apparel, who share our passion for motorcycles and our commitment to excellence.

The starting pay for this position is $15 per hour, plus a range of benefits that include Health, Dental, 401k, and PTO. You will also be part of a fun and collaborative work environment where you can grow and develop your skills.

This is an entry-level opportunity to help keep our customers' machines on the road while offering them an excellent dealership experience. You will be responsible for assisting our team members with tasks such as moving motorcycles, handling tools, and performing other duties as required.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A valid Driver's License with a Motorcycle Endorsement or willingness to obtain one;
• Experience riding and handling motorcycles of all sizes;
• Forklift certification (a plus);
• Detail experience (a plus).

You can expect a fast-paced work environment where you will be working with a variety of customers and team members. You will need to be able to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and handle tools, and occasionally lift 50 pounds of material. You will also need to safely balance and push a 600 to 800 lb. motorcycle.
