We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sport Specialist to join our team at West Hills Community College. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic group of individuals who share a passion for athletics and education.

Job Description:

The Sport Specialist will assist the Head Coach with assigned intercollegiate sports, providing support in practice planning, game planning, student-athlete training and development, and film/video breakdown. The successful candidate will also be responsible for coordinating statistics and film crew for home and away games, as well as working at sport camps, outreach activities, and fundraising events.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Graduation from High School or equivalent required
  • One-year experience working with interscholastic or intercollegiate programs preferred
  • Valid driver's license may be required

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have a strong knowledge of modern instructional practices, procedures, and equipment, as well as coaching techniques and theory.
