**Job Summary**

Marine Hydraulics International, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pipefitter Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our shipyard operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the work of pipefitters and ensuring the successful completion of piping systems and projects.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of pipefitters to ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Plan and execute work schedules, ensuring that all necessary resources and equipment are available.
  • Read and interpret work specifications, technical drawings, and other documents to plan and execute project requirements.
  • Coordinate with other trades and departments to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring that expenses are within budget and that all necessary paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the timecard process and ensure that all time charged to the correct account.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 6 years of experience in pipefitting, with some supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of Mil-Standards and quality assurance requirements.
  • Advanced knowledge of hand tools, bending machines, and other equipment used in the trade.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Good organizational skills and basic computer skills.
