Compensation: $20-$23 per hour, with potential for raises up to $26 per hour after 3-6 months.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working with children and young adults diagnosed with Autism. As a Behavior Technician at Akaba LLC, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients while developing valuable skills and experience in the field of behavioral health.

About the Role:
We are seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to join our dynamic team, providing one-to-one ABA services in client homes, the AKABA center, and various community settings. Your primary responsibility will be to implement individualized behavior support plans, data collection, and skill acquisition programs under the supervision of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build positive relationships with clients and their families
  • Collect and submit accurate data on client progress
  • Implement individualized behavior support plans and skill acquisition programs
  • Attend monthly case review meetings with your supervisor

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • Friendly and energetic demeanor, with a passion for working with children and young adults
  • Experience working with individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities (preferably Autism)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
