Job Summary:

The Staffing Office at Upstate University Hospital is responsible for day-to-day scheduling and staffing operations for designated units and departments. As a Staffing Office Specialist, you will provide daily staffing functions and administrative support related to staffing and position control.

This role requires critical thinking, collaboration, and high attention to detail, as well as the ability to function under pressure with a focus on caring customer service. You will work independently, exercising high-quality judgment in maintaining schedules.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree with a minimum of three years of administrative or healthcare-related experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a healthcare environment

Work Schedule:

Dayshift, Weekends, and Holidays
