Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at Michael Foods Inc. in Gaylord, Minnesota. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing finished goods inventories, controlling stocking levels, and maintaining accurate inventory control to protect the company's investment.

Responsibilities
The Inventory Management Specialist will be responsible for:
• Controlling aged product rotation
• Alerting management and transportation coordinators of any discrepancies with shipments
• Collaborating with the clerk and leads on inventory issues, receipts, and shipments
• Preparing documents and reconciling inventory
• Investigating out-of-date or damaged products
• Working with customer service, supervisor, and manager on inventory shortages for customers
• Monitoring tasks in TRM for any issues or completion
• Ensuring inbound receipts are completed in order as needed
• Working with QA and Customer Service on return orders

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
• Minimum one year experience in warehousing and computer skills
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use standard office technology, such as a computer, copier/fax machine, and phone system
• High school diploma or G.E.D or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Effectively read, write, and speak English
• Strong math and configuration skills

Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of $23.50 per hour, plus a shift differential of $2.50 per hour. Other benefits include 401(k) matching, dental insurance, disability insurance, employee assistance program, flexible spending account, health insurance, health savings account, life insurance, paid time off (available day 1), referral program, tuition reimbursement, and vision insurance.

Location
Gaylord, Minnesota is located in south-central Minnesota, about an hour west of the Twin Cities and 35 minutes from Mankato, Hutchinson, and New Ulm.
