About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Principal Commissioning Specialist to join our team at Gibson Applied Technology & Engineering. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of commissioning projects.

Job Description
  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the Senior Commissioning Engineer in planning and executing commissioning projects.
  • Assist with development of commissioning documentation, including execution plans, system commissioning procedures, and construction check-sheets.
  • Collaborate with operations groups to maintain synergy and ensure smooth handover of project systems.
  • Identify and resolve commissioning issues and propose resolutions.
  • Develop technical queries and follow through on resolution.
  • Interface with other project disciplines to ensure correct project/deliverable documentation.
Requirements
  • Minimum Requirements:
  • Relevant engineering degree required (e.g., mechanical, petroleum, process, electrical).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel offshore and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years experience preferred.
  • Experience writing commissioning or startup procedures preferred.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $100,000 - $140,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
