Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our clinical team at DispatchHealth Management. As an EMT, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work under the supervision of licensed Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants to provide patient care and support.
  • Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and perform IV starts and blood draws as permitted by state law.
  • Apply splints and provide wound care, as well as operate, calibrate, and maintain point-of-care laboratory equipment.
  • Perform EKGs and assist NP/PAs in daily functions of a mobile care delivery emergency unit.
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure the vehicle is stocked and ready for each shift.

Requirements

  • Current EMT certification (WA or NREMT) or Medical Assistant certification (MA-C or MA-P).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • BLS, American Heart Association certification.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily.
