Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary of $25,000 - $30,000 per season, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator will play an active role in all camp activities, working closely with the Camp Director to ensure a memorable and meaningful camp experience for campers. This includes coordinating daily tasks, such as safely transferring campers to and from scheduled club-related programming, interacting with campers throughout the day, and participating in activities that promote their growth and well-being.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Child Development Expertise: Ability to help children grow in character, experiences, and insights.
  • Health and Safety Advocate: Ability to guard the health and well-being of campers at all times.
  • Physical Stamina: Capable of sustaining energy for participation in a full day's worth of activities.
  • Experience Working with Children: Prior experience working with children is essential.
  • Essential Soft Skills: Enthusiastic, responsible, dependable, consistent, level-headed, flexible, and calm in all situations.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification: Must be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified before the summer begins.
  • Time Management and Organization: Strong time management and organizational skills are required.
  • Decision-Making and Adaptability: Ability to make decisions and adjust plans in real-time.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a group of campers to provide a fun, safe, and exciting camp experience.
  • Cooperate with fellow Counselors and the Camp Director.
  • Greet families and campers upon arrival.
  • Support the Camp Director in establishing rules and emergency procedures with campers.
  • Participate in all camp activities.
  • Supervise daily swim time in a hands-on manner from within the water (lifeguard certification not required).
  • Help out where needed and lead activities when asked by the Camp Director.
  • Work with the club to produce a roster of campers enrolled in club-provided programming.
  • Check-in with parents daily regarding their camper's scheduled private lesson or junior programming sessions to ensure the schedule remains accurate in the event of last-minute changes.
  • Develop a logistical plan for getting campers to and from on-site club-provided programming throughout the day in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Complete necessary paperwork documenting camper transference throughout the day.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Our Camp Location

KE Camps' summer day camp operates in various locations across the US, with a primary location at Woodhill Country Club in Wayzata, MN. The camp runs Monday through Thursday from June 9 to July 31, requiring staff members to be available for the entire season.
