Nurse Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at WVU Medicine. As a Registered Nurse in our Inpatient Care department, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
• Prioritize patient care and manage changing priorities with the interprofessional team
• Provide safe, quality care for patients and families
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver patient care
• Participate in the development and implementation of policies that promote patient health and safety
• Advocate for patients' rights and self-determination
Requirements
• ADN, Diploma, BSN, or higher degree
• Current unencumbered licensure with the WV Board of Registered Professional Nurses, or appropriate state board where services will be provided, as a registered professional nurse
• Two years of nursing experience
Working Environment
• Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient care goals
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
