Job Description

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Filling and delivering agency staff requests for supplies and deliveries
  • Verifying the accuracy and completeness of shipping and/or receiving orders
  • Submitting appropriate backup documentation to the finance department in a timely manner for internal processing
  • Acknowledging receipt of delivered items through the use of business software
  • Retaining warehouse inventory documents and forwarding them to the purchasing agent for periodic review
  • Properly storing and maintaining agency file and inventory records
  • Assisting in the disposition of surplus property and/or equipment as directed
  • Assisting with warehouse maintenance and upkeep
  • Operating sit-down forklifts, squeeze clamps/forklifts, and large scissor lifts
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum high school graduate or equivalent
  • The ability to operate sit-down forklifts, squeeze clamps/forklifts, and large scissor lifts
  • A valid driver's license
