We are seeking a skilled Histotechnologist to join our team in North Florida. As a Histotechnologist, you will play a critical role in preparing tissue samples for microscopic examination, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare tissue samples for microscopic examination, adhering to strict protocols and quality control measures.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including microtomes and tissue processors.
- Collaborate with pathologists and other laboratory staff to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Florida State laboratory license (or ability to obtain)
- Associate Degree in Science OR Bachelor's Degree in Science
- Previous laboratory experience is preferred (will interview new grads)
