Job Overview

The Data Integrity Coordinator is a key member of the team at Volunteers of America Los Angeles, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data entered into the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). This role plays a critical part in supporting our mission to provide essential services to vulnerable populations.

Benefits and Salary

We offer competitive medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits. The estimated salary for this position is $27.00 - $29.30 Per Hour based on industry standards in Los Angeles.

Job Responsibilities
  • Data Validation: Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy, correct errors, and ensure required monthly and periodic reporting to funders.
  • Database Management: Run progress reports, create customized reports, and review reports generated by HMIS Specialists.
  • Training and Support: Train all users of HMIS, assist in program funder audits, internal audits, and monitoring visits.
  • Reporting: Ensure HMIS data is uploaded to funder's database monthly/as required.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with program staff to ensure HMIS intake requirements are met.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience: 3-year experience operating/maintaining database.
  • Skills: U.S. Veteran preferred. Familiarity with HMIS, Adsystech, and/or Clarity programs. Experience working with veterans, people in recovery, and homelessness individuals. Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish).
