Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic services in a hospital and/or clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiological procedures using diagnostic radiographic equipment.
  • Utilize skills and abilities required for the age of the patient served, including routine, emergent, portable, surgical, and fluoroscopic examinations.
  • Image processing and understanding of the current RIS and PACS system.
  • Work under the supervision of a radiologist as needed and collaborate with radiologists on film quality assurance, exam clarification, and ECG procedures.
  • Patient registration, patient scheduling, and file work.
  • Participate in an on-call or standby schedule as required.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (Washington) or Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License (Oregon) required.
  • Basic Life Support certification within one month of hire.
  • Radiologic Technologist Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required at hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience performing general radiographic exams using digital equipment within the last three years.
  • Organizational skills, time management, prioritization, planning, attention to detail, problem-solving, decision-making, and technical skills.
  • Adaptability, following policies and procedures, flexibility, and experience with McKesson PACS and EPIC electronic medical records system.
