Process Technician

Vapor Point is a rapidly growing environmental solutions company providing pollution prevention and air emission controls services and systems to the refining, terminals and pipelines, chemical, marine and oilfield industries.

We are seeking a skilled Process Technician to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing innovative solutions to environmental issues while improving people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Best in Class Environmental Vapor Control Equipment
• Operate PLC and HMI Automated Control Process Equipment
• Reduce Customer Air Emissions to the Environment
• Be part of 24/7 Rapid Response Team to Solve Customer Challenges and Problems
• Periodic travel for out of town projects in various parts of the country
• Evaluate job scope, perform equipment staging and setup, and obtain safe work permits
• Perform equipment and vehicle safety inspections
• Perform equipment project setup, operation, and breakdown following company and site SOPs
• Monitor and record process equipment and air emission control equipment using state of the art instrumentation
• On-going internal and external company and project related training

• Basic computer knowledge, Microsoft Word and Excel, email skills
• Ability to take direction and carry out tasks with minimal supervision based on knowledge and training
• Desire to progress your career through company classroom training, OJT, operational competency, and project performance
• Basic mechanical abilities
• Basic knowledge or experience in terminal or refinery processes is a plus
