Job Summary

BNI Global LLC is seeking a highly skilled Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join its Global HR Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, disburse, maintaining, and reviewing payroll, salary adjustments, payroll taxes, and year-end processing; administering an effective benefits program; maintaining the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure accuracy of payroll and benefits administration; and providing ongoing employee support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process payroll, including salary adjustments, payroll taxes, and year-end processing.
  • Administer benefits programs, including 401(k) and Section 125 plans.
  • Maintain HRIS to ensure accuracy of payroll and benefits administration.
  • Provide ongoing employee support and respond to ad-hoc payroll reporting requirements.
  • Review and update employee records, monitor email boxes, and ensure compliance with various state minimum wage requirements.
  • Process garnishments, assist new hires with benefits enrollment, and respond to ad-hoc payroll reporting requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years' experience in payroll and benefits, with preference given to those who have experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of payroll- and benefits-related laws and requirements, including COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, FLSA, and payroll tax laws.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now is strongly preferred.
  • Accounting background is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
