Cerity Partners is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Legal Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment management and a paralegal certificate. The role will involve assisting with managing the active pipeline of manager funding, participating in weekly investment organizational meetings, and drafting summaries of investments to clients' attorneys. The Legal Associate will also be responsible for assisting with client on-boarding, developing and maintaining desktop procedures for the Legal department, and managing review and execution of amendments to fund limited partnership agreements. Additionally, the candidate will assist with submission of investment subscription documents and executed legal documents to investment managers, organize and maintain manager and client folders, and liaise with Cerity Partners LLC legal team on corporate matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team. They will also have outstanding written and verbal communications skills, as well as an intuitive sense of honesty and highest ethical standards. The position will be located at our Denver office and will involve a hybrid work arrangement with at least 3 days a week in the office and up to 2 days a week remote work. The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad variety of tasks related to the day-to-day operation of the legal department and will be expected to assume ownership of various ad-hoc projects as needed.
