Job Summary

The Registered Respiratory Therapist plays a vital role in identifying and implementing physician-directed respiratory care interventions for patients of all ages. This position requires a strong understanding of pulmonary management and the ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with respiratory conditions, including those requiring mechanical ventilation and oxygen therapy
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with nursing and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of respiratory equipment
Requirements
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy
  • Active NBRC RRT certification and state license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
