This role involves driving solutions that have high degrees of ambiguity, requiring diving deep into technical systems, developing new standards, and driving new inventions to generate long-term sustainable solutions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • You will be responsible for diving deep into technical systems, understanding them well, and staying connected to the details;
  • You will deliver results despite working in an ambiguous environment;
  • You will need a strong bias for action and be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously;
  • You will define strategy and build and execute roadmaps for the programs you own;
  • You will be responsible for overall coordination, quality, and productivity and will be the primary point of contact for worldwide stakeholders of programs that you run;
  • You will internalize Amazon's Leadership Principles and live those into everyday practices to guide your programs to success.

**A Day in the Life:**

  • Dive deep with customers to identify and understand their pain points;
  • Think big to build durable products that anticipate future pain points;
  • Use technical judgment and understanding to test assumptions;
  • Track deliverables, keep stakeholders informed, escalate when necessary;
  • Evangalize your products and drive adoption;
  • Think through all aspects of your products' life cycles, including business, technical, legal, and marketing;
  • Help others grow professionally.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of technical product or program management experience;
  • 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience;
  • 5+ years of software development experience;
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules;

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience;
  • Experience in architectural design or system design independent of an architect;
  • Experience designing and building products for developers and scientists;
