About the Role:
Whole Foods Market is seeking an exceptional Dynamic Retail Operations Leader to join our team. This key position plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of our retail operations, focusing on profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain creative store layouts and product displays that drive sales and customer engagement.
• Collaborate with the Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets, analyzing sales reports and labor data to inform strategic decisions.
• Demonstrate advanced product knowledge, staying up-to-date on new products and promotions to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
• Foster strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Work closely with the Team Leader to resolve team concerns and issues, promoting a positive work environment and outstanding teamwork.
• Serve as the point person and departmental leader in the absence of the Team Leader, ensuring continuity and effective management of the team.
• Set and achieve the highest standards of retail execution, driving results-oriented behavior and excellence in customer service.
• Promote a culture of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale, consistently communicating and modeling WFM's vision and goals.
• Maintain awareness of customer flows and needs, directing team members to provide exceptional customer experiences and respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns.
• Select, train, develop, mentor, motivate, and counsel team members to sustain a high-performance team and minimize turnover, providing timely, thorough, and thoughtful performance evaluations.

Requirements and Qualifications:
• 18+ months of retail team member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience, demonstrating growth mindset, leadership skills, and decision-making ability.
• Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills, with the ability to teach others in a positive and constructive manner.
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory and safety policies and procedures, with proficiency in email, Microsoft Office, and operations-related applications.

This dynamic role offers a competitive salary range of $20.05 - $27.53 Hourly, commensurate with experience.
