Baler Inspector

The Baler Inspector will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of the baler equipment and maintaining a safe working environment. This role requires close attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of maintaining equipment, identifying and resolving issues, and promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and maintain baler equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Identify and resolve issues with baler operation and equipment
- Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth operations and meet production targets
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and performance
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to perform routine maintenance tasks
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or degree preferred
- At least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in equipment maintenance or operation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues
- Physical ability to lift 200+ pounds with a partner and stand for long periods
Work Environment
The work environment for this role will be in a manufacturing facility with moderate noise levels and temperatures above 90 degrees Fahrenheit during the summer months. The successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols at all times.
