Atrium Health is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team of compassionate and skilled healthcare professionals. As a Certified Nurse Midwife, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of women's health services.

Position Details:
  • Deliver patients from the midwife practice and supervise residents and medical students on busy Labor and Delivery and Postpartum units.
  • Manage both high-risk and low-risk patients, with over 3000 deliveries per year within the department.
  • Work in a large academic center with a diverse patient mix, including low and high-risk patients.
About the OB/Gyn Department:

Our department is comprised of 31 board-certified physicians representing all OB/Gyn specialties, providing care to a rich patient mix. We have 24 OB/Gyn residents and are a regional campus for Wake Forest University School of Medicine, training 3rd and 4th year medical students in clinical education.

Requirements:
  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse required.
  • Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and approved to practice as a Nurse Midwife in the state of NC/SC.
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider from AHA required.
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certified.
  • Minimum 3 years as a CNM.
